The client wanted a blend of elegant retail space with a touch of traditional elements, whilst maintaining the clothing segregation. Subsequently, the project was visualized to create a bit of vintage glamour into a grand experience for ethnic men’s garment showroom. The design and styling were emphasized to incorporate traditional components in the display, furniture as well as the structural elements.

The central lift space separates the layout into two different sections, one being an exclusive collection studio displaying kurta and suits and the other being the sherwani section. Various materials such as stones, wood and metal engraving were merged in an unique pattern to enhance a distinctive grandeur.

Perforated space is created in the centre by using metal and wooden motifs, maintaining the visual connection with the outer space. The design process takes an opportunity to engulf the elements from the traditional housing by incorporating the traditional windows which gave a sense of aesthetic as well as functional response.
