JSK Showroom

The design scheme combines a deconstructed aesthetic with a subdued colour palette, creating a space filled with tones a browns & white to make for a suitable retail backdrop. The interiors were inspired by the delicacy of the butterfly consequently creating a showroom for women ethnic wear.

The butterfly detailing is carried forward in panels, backdrops, and displays in both the floors. Contrasting to the subtle colour of the showroom is the service zone leading us to the first floor. Dark brown stone demarcates the transition zone. The spatial layout of the store subtly subverts the notion of direct sightlines only by a mirrored glass partition. The butterfly detail is also used in the mirror to highlight its importance in the retail store.

The central walkway leading up to the studio for bridal collection has been designed by creating same artwork on the sliders in the form of intricate patterns. The traditional hanging element is used as design feature to showcase their dresses.
